Five Things Friday, Thanksgiving Foods

It’s hard working up the energy to write when all I want to do is lie down and sleep. I just got done working three very long days in a row, followed by extra hours of online earnings. There are some essential oils that I need for my collection that are about $20 each.

Get this: my husband took the day off and spent the entire afternoon cleaning the apartment. Dishes done. Bathroom scrubbed. Living room spotless. I could cry.

Although it’s hard to focus tonight, I have a new coloring book that’s calling out to me, I’m committed to posting 5TF.

Five Favorite Thanksgiving Day Foods

1. Turkey, Dark Meat

Over the years I have perfected mashed potatoes into my perfect comfort food.

3. Stuffing

My mom always adds ingredients that I knew better than to ask about. They included the turkey giblets. Kinda of grosses me out to think about, but if I can get past that then it’s delicious.

4. Green Bean Casserole

I’m not a fan of green vegetables, but this stuff is amazing.

5. Pumpkin Pie

No Thanksgiving day feast feels complete without a plate-full of pumpkin pie slathered in whipped cream.
